My Experience
Just wanted to write a little about my own personal experience with The Gabriel Method. Hope it helps you make the right decision, no matter how you decide.
Ok, so what’s The Gabriel Method all about and how this method worked for me?
If you’ve tried any number of diets out there, you probably learned the lesson the hard way. I am saying this because i know diets do NOT work. Not one of them, at least not in the long term. Yes, you may be able to lose some weight (more or less, depending how your body works etc), but sooner or later you hit the plateau and the weight loss magically stops.
Those who have tried it a couple times know exactly what i am talking about. It virtually becomes impossible to lose weight after you hit that plateau, and there’s a reason to that. You body and mind work together and they work to protect you, your life and health. They “see” what you’re doing and want to protect you from doing damage to your body and health, because that’s what you ARE doing to your health when dieting. You are damaging your health, metabolism and your life in overall.
If you want to lose weight the right way, you first need to know how to approach this situation. And there are only a few methods that show you how to do it properly, so you can lose weight without doing any harm to your body and health, ever. The Gabriel Method is one of those few.
The Gabriel Method is NOT a diet, that’s the first thing i want to point out.
It’s a METHOD.
This method shows you how to lose weight without any dieting whatsoever. You will not hit the plateau and if you ever do, you will know exactly what to do in order to move on quickly and lose all the excessive weight you want. It works amazingly well and Jon Gabriel is a living proof of that. And there are numerous others who have achieved the same or even better results than Jon himself. They succeeded because this method teaches you the fundamental principles about your body and mind connection and it shows you how to do this correctly right from the day one.
And what’s even more interesting is the fact that there’s no struggle ever and no, you won’t have to spend hours in the gym either. When i first heard about this method, i actually didn’t “buy” their claims and moved on, just to stumble upon it again a few days after. This time i spent more time reading about it and ordered myself a copy of the book. Actually, i bought the whole package. And I was likely to return it back and get a refund, as soon as i would “smell” the scam, but that never happened.
Today, i am still a happy user of The Gabriel Method.
And i am grateful for the day when I’ve found this stuff on the internet. After getting into this myself, my weight started dropping off and my fat was melting away like crazy and i didn’t step into a fitness club ever, not once!
The only thing i did was first read the book, i listened to all the bonus materials i got with the package (there’s a lot of good stuff you get with your order) and then went shopping for the foods Jon Gabriel recommends. And no, i didn’t throw all my other foods into the trash bin right away. What i did is I simply added more of those healthy, recommended foods into my diet and then something really interesting started to happen.
It was like magic really.
I didn’t crave my sweets in the late afternoon and in the evening anymore. That seemed really odd since i was always craving sweet stuff and couldn’t resist not to eat it, no matter what. If i managed to go without the sweets for a day or two, i would then binge the third day like there’s no tommorow. That never worked for me, so i was really desperate to lose weight, but could not do it, since i always ruined everything just a few days later i started the latest diet on the block.
Today, i don’t crave any sweets whatsoever.
And if you knew me, you’d say i went nuts haha. And that would not be an overstatement, i can tell you that. I eat almost whatever i want (minus the sweets and other bad stuff), not because i am not allowed to eat it, but because (big difference!!) i don’t want to eat that stuff anymore. You won’t find any junk food in my kitchen and even my kinds are now learning about all this and they actually like it. And if you have kids you know how getting kids to like all that healthy stuff is virtually impossible.
I could go on and on about this Gabriel Method and talk about Jon and his clients and how it all changed their lives too, but i won’t. I will just link you to Jon Gabriel’s official website, and you can find plenty of information right there. There are numerous videos, audios, pictures, informative articles, lots of video and written testimonials and lots more.
And if you spend some time there, you will soon realize this method is way different from anything else that you have seen or experienced so far and if you give this method a chance (remember, there’s no risk for you ever, you can try this method and if it doesn’t work for you, simply return the package and get a refund) your entire life will change, that’s my promise too.
And I hardly ever say something like that.
Trust me, just do it and see why I’m so excited about all this. I am no experienced webmaster and i don’t really know how to properly put up a decent website (my friend helps me with that, so i can put my experience into an article and put it on this website, for all of you who are reading this right now). I hope it will help you as it had helped me. In fact, i know it will.
You only need to actually do it, that’s it.
You can learn more about The Gabriel Method by visiting the official website. You can find the links in the upper and lower right corner of this page.
And again, thanks for reading about my experience, i appreciate you.
Take care.
Sam J.
p.s. I’d love to hear from you and read your comments, please let me know your thoughts, or even better, your experiences.

Hi Sam
I see that a lot of the people posting comments here is under the impression that their comments are being read/answered by Jon Gabriel himself. It would help if you can clarify that for all. Secondly, I apologise if I am sceptical, but like many others I have tried everything to lose weight and just cannot believe that there is some miracle cure for obesity out there in the form of a book !!!? May I ask if you are employed by the Gabriel Method company / foundation / organisation ?? Are you based in South Africa ? I challenge you to convince me that this is not just another money-making scheme. Numerous other products are marketed by means of videos and testimonials, so that does not convince me that the Gabriel Method is unique. I hope you accept my challenge.
Regards
Carin

Hi Carin, this website is not an official website, it is just a user review website, I am writing about my own experience and providing more information on The Gabriel Method. It’s perfectly all right to be skeptical and no need to apologize for that. The Gabriel Method is definitely not a miracle cure in a book. It’s what Jon is teaching via the book, that provides a great value to those who are willing to try it for themselves.
This information has helped me personally and many others, but i cannot answer that for you, you need to take the step and just try it. What is holding you back? You are covered by a money-back guarantee, so there is no risk to you. I am not employed by The Gabriel Method company/foundation/organization either, this is an independent website. And i am not based in South Africa, where does that come from?
And about the challenge… i am not here to convince anybody about The Gabriel Method. I am just sharing my own experience and providing more information about this method, to help people like you make their own decision. I cannot and will not control that ever. So it is up to you to decide what to do with this information.
So, maybe try it and see how it works for you? I’d be glad to hear back from you.

Hi,
I am 36 years old. I tryed this method and it works for me very well. I lost 14 Kg in 6 months. What is very amazing about me is that I just read the first chapter which he had sent me for free!!!!. I also like to share with my friend this way but I know some of them cannot believe that it works easily.
From here, I like to appriciate Mr.Jon Gabriel so much. You need just understand and believe what ever he explain about the body logic and change this logic(that is it.so easy!!) .
Thank you

I’ve had the book for about a month now and it’s so weird – I’ve no idea how/why it works so well. My problem was not so much that I was overweight (I am described as tall and slim – but, of course being a woman I think I am fat because I’m not supermodel thin!) but that I constantly comfort ate between periods of absinence and exercise. It’s strange because this must be what it’s like to be a ‘normal’ person? – to not have to constantly go to the kitchen for yet another snack. I’m doing as it says in the book and not weighing myself but feel as though I have lost weight (not that I need or want to loose much – just to get that fit, athletic look – definitely not supermodel skinny!). I have tried other non-diet programmes such as Paul McKenna and Susan Hepburn – both full of common sense and books also come with hypnosis type CDs – but neither seemed to work for me – in fact they both seemed to make me immediately want to go and have a snack after listening! Now I eat what I want – but I no longer want sugary stuff – it’s GREAT. I’ve not yet got on to the other visualisation exercises – in fact the first time I read through the book I thought this bit was too weird and scary for me – but I’ll give it a go in time. I also am more thirsty and drink more water – always hard for me previously.
I thought the video of the interview with Jon was really good – thank you.

Hello…can someone tell me if the food that is recommended, is meat…because I’m a vegetarian and I won’t eat meat…so this would be a waste of time to buy if it includes any dead animals…
thanks…ava…

No, the food that is recommended is whatever you want to eat. Don’t want meat? Don’t eat it. Want a Mars Bar? Eat it. Read the book and you will get what I mean.

PLEASE people, don’t be afraid to try this. My wife bought the book for me 18 months ago. I wasn’t interested in another “fad” diet so it sat on the shelf collecting dust. a few months ago I saw it and thought “what’s the harm in reading it?”. I soon discovered the following:
Jon Gabriels’ method isn’t really the “miracle cure” people may think it is. It’s much better than that. Jon taught me, through the book (I would love to shake this guys hand) how to get myself into the right place to lose the weight. It’s a method, and it’s so easy to adopt you don’t notice you’re adopting it.
My weight loss started slowly, but as time goes on it is falling faster and faster. Not once have I been deprived of anything I want. My sugar cravings were gone very quickly, which I can’t quite explain. After a week I was craving apples, bananas and tomatoes. I still wanted sweet stuff but as I sit here and type I realise I haven’t had anything sweet outside of fruit for a long time. If I wanted it though, I would go and eat it. No guilty feelings, I would eat it and enjoy it.
I started exercising last week, too. Not because I felt I was supposed to (you are not asked to do any exercise unless you want to), but because I had an unsatiable desire to go out and exercise. My body spoke, I listened. Instead of being a chore it is a pleasure I enjoy every morning.
If by chance you do speak to Jon, pass on my heartfelt thanks to him for me, will you?

I’ve just bought the book & I’ve nearly read it in a day! I do believe that losing weight is a mind thing. If you’re not in the right frame of mind it won’t happen. I did start off thinking that the whole FAT program thing was a bit weird, but with all the diets I’ve done over the years, its starting to make sense, because none of them worked. I have noticed in the last couple of days, my mind is changing & I’m wanting to eat better. I do have a ‘naughty’ food here and there, but don’t pig out like I used to, and I’m sure it will change with time and I don’t feel guilty either like I would if I was on a diet. The Gabriel Method makes sense. In the end I’m not focusing on losing weight (or being obsessed with it), I want to be fit and healthy and by doing that, I will lose weight. What is there to lose?

This sounds great- however as we so enjoy our glass of ‘red’- is this excluded in the eating plan?

“You will never be asked to to control your eating forcibily, neither the amount of food you are eating nor the type of foods you are craving. You can eat whatever you want whenever you want. Rather than dieting, I’ll ask you to add certain foods and to adopt positive eating habbits.”- Gabriel Method pg 15 (in my edition at least) I glanced through it and off hand I didn’t see any specific mention of wine, The book suggests you drink more water, eat omega-3 rich food (ex, eggs, fish, flaxseed oil- can also get omega-3 pills), take probiotics, and try to add organic foods to your meals and snacks.

I have read the book. I use the visualization download on a mp3 player. I started this in January 2009, was weighing in at 240 lbs at 5′2”, as of today I am 188 lbs. Total loss to date has been 52lbs. I’ve went from a size 22 jean down to a size 16. It is such a pleasure (and cheaper) to buy clothes from the so call “regular size” rack. My goal is 150lbs another 38 lbs to go. I don’t mind that it is taking a long time because it is allowing my skin to shrink so no floppy stuff left over.
I have experienced the same as others have stated, I crave fruits and veggies. I have never been a big veggie eater but they now taste deliciously sweet. I want to exercise because I have all this extra energy to burn. My loss started slow than excellerated, but I have also experienced 3-4 weeks of plateau times. Than all of a sudden your off again on the down swing of losing pounds.
My reccommendation is read the book it is worth it. You are all worth it.
NO MORE FAD DIETS EVER.

I have a sister I am very concerned about. She has struggled with weightloss her entire life minus her highschool years. She was very proportionate height and weightwise. But as she moved out on her own now at age 50 she has struggled with many health conditions even developing terrible type II diabetes. Her weight is taking its toll on her joints but still she eats craves gorges and acts in an addictive manner towards food sweets smothered fatty dinners and such; its almost become a taunting act she performs against herself. I guess she figures it hopeless to try again and again only to be disappointed. At 5ft 8 and nearly 400lbs her weight will fluctuate seldomly now like it used to when she was younger; which gave her hope in enabling her obesity to remain at bay in regards to hope of weightloss. She has hit a wall now and it upsets the family myself included knowing she feels hopeless and in denial. Her personality is strong as ever and she has positive things in her life as usual but I fear the worst because my subtle doses of reality are surely going to cause problems in her mind. I have never made issue or even mentioned her weight to her before because the other family members have always had that tact and respect to admonish her eating habits. The Gabriel Method and links have been sent to her via my having done so and now resentment is building and she hasn’t taken time to even open my emails and refuses to allow me to make it my business to initiate care in a weightloss program for her. I’m lost and don’t know what else to do. I have researched all I can on this “Method” and absolutely KNOW from my own knowledge of the body and its survival instinct that this method will most certainly help her but in curious now believing that maybe her while life has been just a sad attentiin getting manipulative show of fat force and pity. It sickens me to think this way..can anyone share if they experience or have acted similar to how she owns her weight proudly?
